I began my career in healthcare technology in the United States with Loral/Lockheed Martin Corporation, where I provided support and development for new technology currently known as PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems). The federal government awarded Loral the MDIS contract. I had an opportunity to join the Mayo Clinic in 1997 as a systems development manager, providing leadership and guidance over the radiology image storage and distribution strategies. I was also responsible for the operation of Imaging Informatics. In 2008, I joined the Lahey Clinic in Boston, where I led efforts to align imaging informatics initiatives and deploy a unified image archiving solution, improving the accessibility and reliability of medical data for all clinical disciplines. I am passionate about healthcare technology solutions and our ability to enhance the efficiency of care providers. Additionally, I had the opportunity to serve as Vice President of product management and customer consulting for Peake Healthcare Innovations, where I focused on healthcare consulting services. I contributed to building the Enterprise Imaging Department for Stanford and managed all aspects of the imaging portfolio. Being part of the leadership team at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) was a privilege. We transformed the Diagnostic Imaging Department from five independently functioning hospitals with five stand-alone PACS into a state-of-the-art Enterprise PACS system, creating a virtual department of Radiology. At CTCA, I implemented Enterprise Radiation Treatment, Laboratory, and other medical technology solutions to support clinical practice operations. With Envision Healthcare, I served as the CEO of BRIT and was responsible for overall company performance, successfully moving the company from losses for five consecutive years to 12% EBITDA profits. I developed and executed the marketing and sales strategy, transitioning technology to a cloud offering with full BC/DR options, and built Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams. The company was recognized as a TOP 10 innovative company in 2021 and 2022. I also had the chance to consult for AIdoc and was invited to join the company full-time to develop a program showcasing the value of AI solutions to clients. I created the AI Insights program, trained sales and customer success teams, and collaborated with product, marketing, sales, and support teams. I delivered presentations to C-level healthcare executives to outline the AI Strategy for their institutions, resulting in the highest sales in the company and a 20% increase in sales.
